employ various software, hardware and telecommunications tools to help our clients achieve
their objectives. While our main focus is on the Microsoft Windows platform and our
primary programming tool is Visual Basic, we use many other tools as well.

Software Tool Development
In addition, several of our associates have developed software tools which they use and
distribute. These include tools for help file authoring, class creation, code printing and
code reformatting and conversion.
Techniques
We have extensive experience in combining various technologies. One of the ways we do this
is with OLE automation of Word, Excel and Acrobat from Visual Basic. Besides
straightforward business programming, our experience includes transparent replacement of
Windows functions, driver development, some Windows internals and software conversion.
Associates
Our associates have varying hardware and software configurations. Almost all have multiple
machines, including a laptop and run at least two operating systems. Most have the

Legacy Languages and Systems
While our primary focus is on Windows-based systems, most associates have experience with
one or more legacy languages and operating systems. They include FORTRAN, COBOL, PL/I,
MVS, VSE, GEIS, Pascal, ADA. These skills are useful when we are called upon to interface
to legacy systems. |
