Dr. Martin Tillinger founded Tillinger
Consulting Corp. (TCC), a consulting firm which provides a broad range of services in the
information processing field. TCC is located in New York and develops
projects throughout the United States and abroad. Dr. Tillinger also
founded Aardvark Software Inc. which provides tools and add-ons for Microsoft Visual Basic.Dr.
Tillinger conducted a wide range of consulting engagements in many industries. He
planned and directed major data processing conversion projects; performed systems
analysis, design and programming; evaluated hardware and software; developed software for
specialized applications; and provided technical guidance for IT operations. Dr. Tillinger
also provided general management consulting services, including evaluations of IT
environments, development of IT standards, and advice on information processing
strategies, IT staffing and organization structure.
Prior to founding TCC, Dr. Tillinger was associated with several firms in technical and
managerial positions. As President of MHT Services, Inc., he was responsible for all
activities of this software and services firm, and participated directly in most of the
company's projects. MHT Services, Inc.'s primary focus was conversion of software,
including planning, development of conversion tools, and performing turnkey
implementations. In addition, MHT developed systems for cash management, portfolio
analysis, insurance, and other applications. Previously, Dr. Tillinger held positions such
as Vice President - Data Processing for Numerax, Inc.; Senior Consultant for ADP; Account
Software Manager for EDS;and Manager of Computer Operations and Technical Support for
Insurance Services Office.
Dr. Tillinger graduated from the Polytechnic Institute,
Brooklyn, New York with BS, MS and PhD degrees. He was a founder and officer of several
computer groups including the OS Eastern Region User Group (OSERG) and the NY/NJ Chapter
of the Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA). His speaking engagements have
included lectures on various technical and management topics for GUIDE, ACM, ICCA, ADAPSO,
AWC, NYPC and other organizations. Dr. Tillinger also wrote articles for a variety
of industry publications.
