Ecco to Access

This program exports all data from an Ecco database to Microsoft Access. Tillinger Consulting wrote it as a first step to converting its own Ecco databases to Outlook 98 and Act!. We are providing this software to other Ecco users as a courtesy and without charge. The program is written in Visual Basic 3.0, and creates an Access 2.0 database. This format allows the software to run on Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Windows 95/98, Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0. The Access 2.0 database may be read with, or converted to Access 2.0/95/97.

Tillinger Consulting can convert Ecco databases to Outlook, Act! and other contact management systems. This service is offered to corporate clients with multiple Ecco databases.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Download the SetupE2M.exe to a temporary directory.
  2. Execute SetupE2M.exe which will then create 12 files in the temporary directory.
    3.
  3. Run Setup.Exe from the temporary directory. This will prompt for a choice of destination directory where the Ecco2MDB.Exe program will be installed.
  4. The files created in the temporary directory may be deleted.
  5. Start the ECCO2mdb program and follow the instructions on the screen.
